Jobs Description :

We’re seeking a highly capable and enthusiastic Learning and Teaching Manager to join the team to lead the student support service for the practical laboratory teaching in the Diamond facility, covering timetabling, teaching and assessment, quality assurance and business development.

Reporting directly to the Departmental Administration Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, reviewing and developing procedures and policies relating to practical teaching provision in The Diamond, and contribute to the monitoring and improvement of teaching quality.

You will have a good honours degree or equivalent experience in HE administration and strong communication skills and the ability to engage with staff at all levels is also vital. Above all, you’ll be dedicated to providing a high quality practical experience to students and will proactively seek to improve existing learning and teaching practice, ensuring that the Diamond remains at the very forefront of innovative engineering education.
